Forest school Year 5 and Nursery joint session

Year 5 joined Nursery for a joint forest school session while Year 6 were at Standon Bowers. We are very proud of the Year 5 children and how they worked with the nursery children. They each took on responsibility for a nursery child and took the child under their wing! They bug hunted, making dens and making obstacle courses! The Year 5 children taught the nursery children lots of new skills. They all showed their Torch Values of Tolerance, Ownership, Respect, Cooperation and of course Happiness. One of the nursery children said to the teacher when they went back into the classroom " What a beautiful morning we have had" XXXX
